10- Hagen scene work Students will work on a scene from The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde with a partner. They are expected to use their Hagen techniques for prep. Put all work on the Hagen google doc

11- Accent Unit- tongue twisters

We will start our accents unit with memorizing a tongue twister and perform it using correct enunciation. Students will be expected to use their Hagen techniques to develop a character for the performance.

12- Southern accent phrases

Students will look up 2 Southern phrases and use them in their daily life. Report back in class

 

13- Accent Unit- American accents: Southern

Students will learn the basics of a Southern accent. Apply the accent to their tongue twister. Code script and create a character.

Students will choose a scene with a partner to perform in class using their Southern accent. All text analysis required.

 

 

15- New York accent

Students will learn the basics of the New York accent. Work on their tongue twister in the New York accent.
