Every character has a complete backstory. Every actor needs to do research to determine every aspect of their character’s life. We will review the Character Analysis worksheet together. Students might want to take notes.
Students need to choose a monologue to memorize, research, write a character analysis and perform in class. You can choose an original piece you wrote or a published piece. The monologue must be between 1-2 minutes in length.

***Second Year students have the option of choosing to present a two person scene with a partner of their choosing. Their partner must be a Second Year student in the program.
