Please complete the following google doc if you would like to compete in the Middle School Speech Competition held at Computech on Thursday, Oct 21. Call is 3 PM.
Students should have chosen a piece for competition. Students will continue memorizing their piece. This week they must have 7 minutes memorized. A great way to determine how long your piece is to read it aloud and time yourself.
3- HI/DI/DUO Assignment 1 Read at least 3 humorous and at least 3 dramatic pieces from various sources. Do not just use online sources, read books from the shelves. Write a one paragraph discussion of characters you would create for each piece. Cite authors and titles. 4-HI/DI/DUO Assignment 2
Choose one HI and one DI for in class work. You must write an introduction for each piece. Include your intro in the text of your HI and DI.
