Each designer will have a job on this show to complete during class. We will review Izzy’s costume plot and discuss all costume changes and needs of the show. Designers will need to do some research for their costumes\, especially if builds are necessary.\n\n\n\n2- Cinderella pulling\n\n\n\nDesigners will go to stock and begin pulling items we need for their part in the show. This show is bananas. \n\n\n\nXanadu follows the journey of Greek goddess\, Kira\, as she descends from Mount Olympus to Venice Beach\, California\, in 1980. She’s on a quest to help the struggling artist\, Sonny\, succeed in the creation of the “greatest piece of artistry of all time”- the first ROLLER DISCO!\n\n\n\nCostume\n\n\n\n1- Cinderella\n\n\n\nDesigners will continue pulling and prepping for the needs of the show. Designers need to start setting up fittings for their actors. Fittings can be during 6 period\, before or after school or during any period of the day that is convenient. It is the responsibility of the Designers to give me AT LEAST a day’s notice to get attendance figured out. Any requests for the same day will not be honored.\n\n\n\n2- Alterations\n\n\n\nDesigners will learn how to fit costumes for alterations.\n\n\n\n3- Machine sewing- Block day\n\n\n\nDesigners will learn how to use the sewing machines in room 310. We will use the machines for alterations.\n\n\n\nFUSD Theatre Festival\n\n\n\nRTC is hosting the FUSD Theatre Festival again this year. We are scheduled for a full day: 9 AM- 4 PM. All students enrolled in a Theatre class is expected to attend. You will be missing classes all day\, ensure you keep up with the work for the day.\n\n\n\nAccording to the syllabus your attendance was agreed upon at the beginning of the year:\n\n\n\nFUSD Theatre Festival Requirement\n\n\n\nAll RSA Theatre students are expected to participate in the FUSD Theatre Festival. This is the only required in class event.\n\n\n\nDate: February 15\n\n\n\nTime: 9-4:15\n\n\n\nAll actors must have a scene or monologue prepared for competition.\n\n\n\nCostume Designers will enter their designs for adjudication.
